Sometimes pain in our body is the evidence that we are changing our way of being at the cellular level. I call it growing pain. Other times it is our body’s way of letting us know we are violating our constitution of life. To know the difference is to master life; not to know is to suffer.
When you are in pain, your body is asking for your attention. Complaining about the pain is asking others for attention. Giving attention to your pain in the first place will prevent passing your pain on to others.
“When we try to get rid of our pain by giving it to others we only circulate more pain in the world. The only way to get rid of pain is to fully experience it until nothing is left.”
“When a person experiences great pain, it is easier to hate than to love. But hate makes the pain even greater.”
