If you tell people now what you love about them before their funeral, they will have the opportunity to enjoy it.

Most human misunderstandings occur when the conversation is limited to the human condition, the duality and the limitation of language. It is wiser at times to ask normal, human-level questions but receive spirit-level answers. The questions are expressed in thoughts and words, the answers expressed in feelings of knowingness.

Singing is when your true voice speaks from your heart. Singing comes from your soul. Imagine singing what you are about to say, especially if it is an important message.

I often notice in conversations that people ask for your opinion not necessarily to appreciate it but to determine if you are on their side. If you can see the different sides as different colors on a tapestry blending together into a masterpiece and not a competition on which color is the best one, you will be able to see the beauty in all.

Just because someone invites you to listen to his or her life story does not mean you are invited to participate in it. Being a witness is a greater contribution than being an accomplice.

How you feel only matters to you but what you say or do about it matters to others.

When someone asks you a question they are revealing to you the questions that they want to answer for you. See how excited they get when you ask them their own questions. Really listen to them and watch their excitement grow.

I find worse than being talked about is not being talked about at all.

When you are asked, “How are you?” the truth is that they’re really asking you how they are doing.

When you only listen to yourself you will hear what you already know. When you listen to others you might learn something new about them. When you listen to yourself after you listen to others you might learn something new about yourself.
